I have wanted to write to you for a while to submit my observations in connection with the improved atmosphere at Wyllie Lodge since we started using ELANRA back in 1994. As you suggested at the time, we have been using the ELANRA in the Activities Room during the day and In the Family/T.V. Room in the evenings, where the residents are obviously spending quite a lot of time together.

Some of our residents suffer from Dementia, demonstrating behavioral problems. However, after a short period of time my staff and I noticed a marked improvement in their attitude and behavior. Not only are they easier to deal with but the ELANRA does also seem to have a calming benefit, an effect that seems to be positively correlated to the length of time they are exposed to the ioniser. Furthermore, my Diversional Therapist is actually feeling an improvement in her own overall well being and health, since she has started to work in this improved environment.

During the night the ELANRA Is used in the bedrooms of residents who are suffering from various sleeping disorders and we have found that they have become more restful during the night and their sleeping pattern has become more regular.

After the first winter season since we started using the ELANRA, we have furthermore observed a significant improvement in the residents' overall state of health. We have hardly had any incidents of chest infections, colds or flus, which used to be passed on amongst the residents on a regular basis.

Another remarkable change has taken place over the past couple of months, since we installed ELANRA in the office area. This area is very small and compact and it is also where all our electronic office equipment is being used.

I frequently used to suffer from severe headaches and very sore eyes during the day to the extent that I stopped using eye make-up. Having been to an eye specialist I was told that it was possibly caused by a kind of allergy and that my tear secretion was deficient. Although the ELANRA is installed in the back of the office cubicle facing the door into my office, I am no longer suffering from sore eyes and only rarely do I get a severe headache. I do at the same time feel far more energetic during the day.

We will shortly be making some extensions and changes to the office and administration areas and I want you to know that I will be budgeting for further additions to our "fleet" of ELANRA, which we would not be without any Tore. Thank you very much for introducing us to this fantastic therapeutic device, which has significantly improved the health and well being of the residents and staff at Wyllie Lodge.
