On March 16, 1999 I had a facelift performed by a board certified Plastic Surgeon in La Jolla, California The procedure went well but while I was in the recovery room I had excess bleeding in my neck which was called a hematoma by the doctor.

I was then carried back into surgery where the doctor was able to stop the bleeding, but according to him, this was a complication that was not normal or desired. Since the surgery started at 7AM in the morning I was able to be home an in bed my 4PM. I was in some pain so I took the prescribed pain medications.

Since we owned two Elanra Ionisers, my husband contacted Joshua Shaw via email asking him for the healing settings for the Elanra. My husband placed the Elanra about 30 inches from my face, head level and I then slept until 11PM that evening when I awaken needing to go to the bathroom. I was not in pain but since my pain threshold is very low, I took a 2^nd dosage of pain medication at that time.

I then slept through the night with no difficulty only to be awakened by my husband at 6AM as I had an appointment with my plastic surgeon at 7AM for a follow up visit in his office. On examination, my doctor was very surprised as to how well I was doing, especially with the hematoma.

After the office visit we drove home and during the drive I became car sick. I rushed into the house and was on my knees in front of the toilet about to throw up, you know when you have that taste in your mouth and you know what is going to happen next, about that time my husband came running into the bathroom with the Elanra which he quickly plugged up, and stuck the Elanra in front of my face.

Believe me, when I tell you , that in 15 to 20 seconds my nausea totally stopped and I was sitting there on the floor amazed that seconds before I was so sick and now I am completely fine and my nausea was totally gone.

I went back to bed with my Elanra beside me and I did not require any further pain medication of any type whatsoever for this surgery.

My doctor was very pleased with my healing, especially with the Hematoma, which would have normally extended the healing period by some weeks. My surgery was on the 16^th of March and I went back to work on the 31^st of March as an expert witness in a court trial. I not only felt great, I looked great and needed very little makeup for my court appearance.

I had a previous surgery where the healing period was extended and drawn out. The only difference this time was the Elanra Mark II Ioniser, which I now totally believe in and would recommend to anyone who is going to have surgery. Not only did I heal much faster than normal, but also I only had to take pain medication twice and the Elanra kept me sleeping and comfortable.
